On The Expression Of Artistic Conception In Painting

With the world’s cultural fusion, frequent exchanges, complex content and variety, the fields of world’s cultures and arts trend to be diverse and personal. Especially under the impact of new media, the traditional cultures and arts keep their own artistic characteristics, meanwhile they adapt to the new trends of world’s cultures and arts, which becomes the common topic in the fields of world’s cultures and arts. The problem of contemporary Chinese oil paintings in particular is prominent. By the impact of market and the temptation of economic interests, some art works are crudely made, which only pay attention to the form instead of the content, which only pursue the economic interests instead of the quality. If Chinese oil paintings will stand erect in the world’s artistic forest, they must make foreign and ancient things serve China. That means they not only inherit the Western paintings also have the characteristics of Chinese traditional paintings. We study “mood”, and explore the ancient Chinese traditional aesthetics “mood” to be used in the artistic expression of oil paintings, which can further promote contemporary Chinese painting rooted in the Chinese fertile soil, so that the oil paintings with Chinese characteristics can be global.The paper analyses the environment of contemporary world’s cultures and arts and the development of Chinese oil paints, studies the important characteristic of Chinese traditional aesthetics and paintings—the expression of “mood” and its combination with contemporary Chinese oil paintings. With the production, development and application of Chinese traditional “mood”, the paper wants to find and build a Chinese cultural and artistic characteristic without losing the artistic character of oil paintings.
