After World War II, the rise of the theatre of the absurd in France is the development and extension of the "absurd literature" of the western modernism literature, and it is a new theatre that is totally different from the traditional rules. Samuel Beckett is one of the founders of the theatre of the absurd and he epitomized the thought of the theatre of the absurd. "Endgame" is Beckett’s representative works of the theatre of the absurd. "Endgame" absorbed the no logic, non rational absurd elements of the consciousness stream literature, drew lessons from the absurd elements of expressionism literature, used the "broken and broken" fault language, reflected the absurdity of the anti theatre culture; It shows the characters in Christian original sin through dialogues and absurd behavior; It shows the distorted human nature of enslavement through the dialogue of the characters and the absurd psychology. " Endgame " has the rich cultural connotation of anti theatre, giving people a profound cultural enlightenment.
