| The Grande Canale is the fruition of the wisdom and strength from Chinese working people, which not only push forward the progress of China’s economy and society, but also promotes the development of culture. Folk songs in different regions of the canal have distinct personality and unique genre. With Gaoyou folk songs as the research object, this paper focuses on its historical background, social cultural, and conservation methods. The singing style and the innovations under a historical background of Gaoyou folk songs is also studied, aiming at the better protection of such a intangible cultural heritage. Under this target, this paper compared Gaoyou folk songs with other music heritages on the same region to study the correlations and differences. A serious of protective suggestions have been proposed, including strengthen the public management, support social groups’financial aid, encourage the legislative protection, explore the inheriting of school education, promote the tourism development, etc. To establish a better system of the inheritance protection, integrating modern technical measures into the conservation methodology is also discussed, especially by using the big data ideas and technologies to create an unfolding exploration of the protection theory.The development and heritage work of the Gaoyou traditional folk songs must be to be able to assimilate into modern social life,wheras the inheritance can be obtained a socialized, market-oriented, popularized protection systems. To inspire the catholic attentions from the whole community, and arises people’s common interests on the essences of Gaoyou folk songs, the research should embrace the times and modern technologies. At this great point of view, how to excavate the values of social, education and economy from Gaoyou folksongs, and convert such an older treasures into the power of growth of the people and society, is a deeper cannotation and goal of this thesis. |
