A Study Of Qin Ci 's

Attunement was used by Taoism and gradually it becomes a rhetorical device. Attunement is a form of adduction rhetorical development. This theory is shown in different articles and poems of ancient Chinese dynasty. The studies of attunement are about attunement theory itself or the differences between attunement rhetoric and other rhetorics. There are few people study this theory from a linguistic perspective. Qin Guan has a high achievement in his Ci, so there are a lot of people study his articles. As a result, there are lots of wonderful results about theme, Ci style, artistic characteristics and Ci appreciation of studying his articles. Nevertheless, there are no people considering the pointcut of attunement. although he is good at using this theory. In order to have a further research on the attunement rhetoric, I write this article to talk about the attunements in Qin Guan’s Ci, with the analysis of classical attunements and the Modern linguistic theories.The thesis has four parts. The first part is introduction. It gives a definition of attunement to distinguish the practical of attunement. It also talks about the classical attunement theory and its study. Making an analysis of the study situation and the study gaps of Qin Guan’s Ci. These are mean to express the meaning and methods of this thesis. The second part is the body and divided into four characters. The first character is to sum up the reference points of attunement. One aspect of this character is the time, the writer, the piece of the sentences we analysis. The other aspect is the aesthetic tendency and the knowledge and the moods of the author. What’s more, I try to know the main aesthetic tendency about scholars of song dynasty through reading the Ci of Qin Guan. The second character is based on the variation of rhetoric to talk about two ways of attunement, such as the rhythm changes and the expressions changes of Qin Guan’s Ci. Chapter three takes advantage of cognitive linguistics which includes conceptual blending theory and construal theory, to express the three expression effects, semantic fusion, semantic innovation and significance of harmonious, of Qin Guan’s Ci. Chapter four is the conclusion of the three chapters before. There are three motives of attunement. The social and cultural motive:literary genre, literature ideological trend and the zen culture. The aesthetic motive:changing beauty and connotation beauty. The psychological motivation:the apply of associative imagination and the highlight of subjectivity. Make a further discussion on attunement’s value and its’ awareness. The last part is designed to conclude the whole thesis. The core of attunement is innovation and ego. One cannot give a wrong judge on it or abuse attunement.This thesis has a whole statistics and analysis on the practical attunements of Qin Guan’s Ci. It’s not only make up the study of attunement in Qin Guan’s Ci but also provide some corpus and reference value to the study of his Ci and attunement. In order to reach this goal, we should combine more pratical attunements, so that it can be more objective, convincingly expound attunements’motivation and value.
