Study On The Genealogy Of Bamboo Slips Of Miao Nationality

Hmong oral genealogy is an old inheritance system of patrilineal family by spreading from mouth to mouth and remembering in heart, it is also a cultural foundation of Hmong family’s historical memories,including their ethnic origin,historical migration,pedigree atlas,person achievement,regulations of the clan and containing their orders and rules,ancestor worship,conception belief and so on.It is not only the important part of Chinese genealogy culture, but also the important element of human’s intangible cultural heritage.In the interior of Hmong society,oral genealogy is the cultural historical thread for seeking their roots of every member,it is the cultural basement for self-intuition and survival multiplying of ethnic group,it is also the bridge for communicating between this life and ancestral spirits,it will make great sense for researching historical source and course,social institution,conception belief and other cultural traditions.This article takes Zhuliu,Nangao Village,Danzhai County of Guizhou Province as field work’s place, by case study, keeping an eye on this intangible cultural heritage’s generating basis,cultural significance and value supporting of Hmong oral genealogy.This article is based on data of text work and field work,comprehensively using some methods of ethnology and phonology to narrate and analyze the names,implied meaning,name rules,architectural feature,constitution system of Zhuliu Hmong oral genealogy.At the same time,exploring and explaining the orders and rules,progenitor recall,conception belief and other cultural connotation of Zhuliu Hmong oral genealogy by using theories of ethnology and sociology.In order to researching the constitution system, establishment and maintain to social order,function supporting and memory guidance to recalling progenitor of Zhuliu Hmong oral genealogy.This article includes three parts : introduction, main body and epilogue.Introduction illuminates the topic of study cause, research summary and relevant concept definition.Main body includes five chapters.Chapter 1 introduces theentironment of Zhuliu from three points of view:natural ecology,social ecology and human ecology.Chapter 2 destructs and analyzes the constitution system of Zhuliu Hmong oral genealogy, and elucidates the implied meaning of genealogy names.Chapter 3 discusses Hmong traditional name,current Chinese surname and family,family ties,with bamboo leave Hmong four typical families as an example,this paper oral genealogy construction under the traditional family structure types of the Hmong nationality.Chapter 4 discuss the construction of the oral genealogy of the social order and maintain the function of meaning from three aspects : family,marriage,multiplying.Chapter 5 lists three ancestor worship etiquettes(“?ɑ?33tɑ33”,“thi45t?u35”,“n??55?o31”) to explore ancestors recall and the traditional concept of ancestor worship belief.Epilogue is this article’s summary.I think Hmong oral genealogies is a lineage dictating heart remember patriarchy group of ancient inheritance system.It is not only a historical legacy of traditional culture,but also it is an important form of human intangible cultural heritage unit,the academic research has great value and significance to the inheritance and development.
