The Consciousness Of College Students' Honesty And Its Cultivation

The survey showed that the students generally pay close attention to Chinese anti-corruption and have their correct view of it. When dishonesty has occurred, they can have a good mind. They also have given some affirmative evaluation on clean government culture although some corruption has existed at college. They think that it is significant to receive integrity education for their development.However, some of the students who are weak in sense of honesty can’t realize how important integrity and self-improvement is. They are easily affected by misconduct which has made them lose the ability of self-control and self-esteem. For example, the teachers who have power to award students education grants and scholarship will be given treats and gifts by some students.The reasons are that colleges lack improper understanding and a complete system of integrity education. The methods are rigid and stiff, without innovation and independent ideas.This paper is based on the questionnaire about the college students’integrity education in Tianjin Binhai New Area, which is part of their self-management pattern.It has come up with constructive suggestions, a plan for good future and voices potential worries after analysizing data.The paper believes that the following aspects should be improved in order to enhance the college students’integrity awareness and self-management ability. First, the government should give publicity to good models who have shown in honesty. Second, family focus on children’s honesty education. Third, school launches different kinds of integrity education. Fourth, the communities create a green cultural environment. Lastly, the networks post correct guidance of public opinion.
