December3,1973, in order to explore and establish a unified internationalmaritime order, rational exploitation of marine resources, the Third United NationsConference in New York began.Thesis by describing the conflict of interest of thesecountries behind the conflicts of the Third United Nations Conference on the worldocean views and ideas on the right, and to understand the contradictions and conflictsconcerning the right of countries to the ocean, as well as lead. On this basis, focusing onChina’s position and proposition at a meeting on the territorial sea, the contiguous zone,the exclusive economic zone and other issues, analyze the contribution made by Chinain the process of formulation of the Law of the Sea Convention. Finally, for sometypical examples to expound China safeguard maritime rights and interests throughpractical activities, deeply understand China’s consistent principled stand on oceanissues. I hope through this study can be inspiration for future Chinese coastal defenseconstruction.
