As an important member of the first generation leadership of the ChineseCommunist Party, Liu Shaoqi, in the process of new democratic revolution, thesocialist revolution and socialist exploration construction, combined with the concretepractice of building a clean government, reflected on anti-corruption issues in depth,his anti-corruption thought with Profound theoretical origins, rich content, uniquecharacteristics. In this paper, I reveal the theoretical origins of Liu Shaoqi’anti-corruption thought from Marx and Engels’ thought of “social servants”, Lenin’stheory about clean government and Chinese traditional culture, to show the historicalcontext of its formation and development with macro backdrop, through in-depthexcavation and research, I systematically summarize the content and features of thisidea, which is not only of great historical significance for the full understanding of theearly anti-corruption atmosphere, but also of the great practical enlightenment forcurrent and future construction of the CCP and construction of socialist clean politics. |
