A Study On The Work Of Shanghai Public Security Organs At The Beginning Of The Founding Of The People 's Republic Of China (1949-1952)

Early years of the new nation, the security of Shanghai is confused. Narcotic drugs are in flood. The crime is continuing without end. The Shanghai public security is the main force for maintenance of order. This paper is aimed at carding the social security situation of Shanghai in early years of the new nation.It is also aimed at carding the main work of police of Shanghai. It evaluates the work of the police of Shanghai in early years of the new nation, according to its affects. The positive effects include two aspects: first, the protection of public security, maintaining social stability; the second is to promote public spirit to positive change.
