A Research Of The Movement Of Propagandizing And Implementing The Marriage Law In Anhui In The Early Years Of Establishment Of The People's Republic Of China

May 1,1950,the Central People's government promulgated the "People's Republic of China marriage law"(hereinafter referred to as the "marriage law"),to guide the marriage and family relations in the form of legal norms,and establish a new marriage system,all done in order to lay the foundation for the reform of social stability.Anhui in order to completely eliminate the influence of the old marriage system and custom of the people's influence,the "marriage law" be properly implemented,from May 1950 to 1953 to carry out the propaganda and implementation of the "marriage law" movement.After nearly three years of efforts to publicize and implement the "marriage law" movement has made certain achievements,basically destroyed the old marriage system,the establishment of a new marriage system;the concept of marriage freedom,equality between men and women,people deeply rootde in the hearts of people;women's status has improved,the enthusiasm of the masses has been stimulated.While the quality of the grassroots cadreshas been improved in this movement.There are still some limitations in the social reform of the"marriage law" movement in which the relies on the implementation of the national compulsory force in the backward areas of economy and education.To fundamentally get rid of the traditional marriage system,the concept of "marriage law"to achieve a well-known content,the level of shifting habits and customs,is still a long-term and arduous task.This article is divided into five parts:the first part outlines the background and main contents of the marriage law in 1950,and the marriage legislation from the late Qing Dynasty to the founding of the People's Republic of China was briefly introduced.The second part is the preliminary stage of the propaganda and implementation of the "marriage lawt" movement.lt mainly introduces the background of the propaganda and implementation of the "marriage law" in Anhui from the aspects of traditional family relationship and women status in Anhui area,and then carries out"marriage law".The third part is the implementation phase of'marriage law"inAnhui.It mainly elaborates thesituation of Anhui's propaganda and implementation of "marriage law" in this period,mainly from the further development and inspection of the implementation of the implementation of "marriage law".The fourth part is the comprehensive development stage of thepropaganda and implementation of the"marriage law" in Anhui,and elaborates from the preparatory stage,the developing stage and the daily life.The fifth part analyzes the achievements and shortcomings of the propaganda and implementation of the "marriage law" in Anhui.
