Defense weapons and equipment such as missile, airplane need strict supervision and standardized testing, maintenance. This issue which commissioned to research a post-maintenance for missile-borne computer testing method by a defense company is subject to a certain model of a missile. Taking into consideration the needs of convenience, the testing method is based on digitalization, miniaturization, portability, low-power embedded technology, for the needs of security in the start of research, this issue use one kind of DSP simulation of a missile-borne computers, which the method of using FPGA testing them with the USB2.0.The topic of " Research of Methods For Missile-borne Computer based on FPGA " which want to design a high-speed data acquisition, storage, transmission and testing system in real-time, data collection and the data stored in SRAM under the FPGA controlling, when needs to analyze the data collected from DSP by FPGA. The data through the USB2.0 bus interface to achieve data transmission which were sent to the PC terminal displaying and analysis, and achieve real-time debugging on this basis. In this issue, the testing system hardware circuits has designed and has produced a PCB board, and has developed a part of software for the data acquisition system, and has made a certain amount of description in real-time debugging. The testing system in circuit mainly consists of the following components: DSP (TMS320VC5502) simulation circuit for missile-borne computer, FPGA (Cyclone EP1C6) control circuit, SRAM (IS61LV51216) high-speed storage circuit, USB2.0 (CY7C68013A) interface transmission circuits. In the hardware design, the paper gave the overall blue print design of the testing system ,and gave the working mechanism about the testing system, and introduced the many of chip which used in the testing system and described the hardware circuit design in main module of the testing system, the internal logic design in FPGA and PCB design and so on.In the software design, the paper discusses the design process in DSP Boot loader of stimulation circuit, the program design process in the control circuit of FPGA and high-speed storage circuits SRAM, the firmware development process in USB2.0 circuit of CY7C68013A, the design process in PC terminal testing platform for overall system integration process. This paper implements DSP with FPGA collected data to the PC terminal and gives display feature,in addition to achieve a simple real-time debugging the testing system has been stable, with a high-speed, portable, low power consumption characteristics.
