| Mine ventilator is essential for driving face ventilating and gas drainage and its reliability can have a direct influence on Production safety. The present safety production of mine in China is facing long-run problems, including obsolete control equipments of mine ventilator, lagged techniques and functional insufficiency.In this dissertation, a set of ventilator monitoring system, which consists of the hardware, including PC, PLC and inverter, and the monitoring software based on Kingview, is devised with applications of the PLC control technique, the frequency control technique and the monitoring technique, in order to solve the issues in ventilator monitoring. To devise this monitoring system, the first step is to select a rational control scheme based on operating characteristics of the ventilator and the control requirements. The second is to select the appropriate frequency converter and to set relevant system parameters. The next is to analyse the possible failure of mine electricity grids and the relative damages and to adopt effective protective measures. The final section is the program writing. The main function of this system is that it can automatically undertake data collection of ventilator system parameters, data processing, adjustments on the frequency of ventilator revolving speed and real time monitoring of the operations. Additionally, it can modify the shortages which exist in the previous systems, such as excessive simplification, insufficient functions and low reliability, which can satisfy requirements of unattended production and hence it is a stable and reliable monitoring system which can promise mine production safety. |
