| In the electricity system, the management of safety tools is very important. The previous management method and safekeeping conditions make the storage space of safety tools oversized, the temperature and humidity out of control, the insulated tools damp. Unable to link with the safety management system networking, the number of the using tools is not consistent with the number of the testing tools, the safety tools that are overdue are not found easily. Thus, the safety tools are possibly to miss the test, and the accident caused in the end.In order to solve the problems of safety tool management in the electricity system, according to the specific requirements for the safety management of Hebei electric power plant, we designed the Electricity Safety Tool Ark Controlling System. In this controlling systm, we adopted the embedded motherboard production EM9161 that is produced by Emtronix information technology Co., LTD of Chengdu as the control core; photoelectric switches are used to collect information of the tool type and quantity in the cabinet. The collected information is displayed on the LED screen synchronously. Collecting temperature and humidity informations through the humiture sensors, transferring the informations to the humiture Controller, it does heating and dehumidification processing to the tool ark. Through RS-232 or RS-485 interface, it communicates with the superordination machine. The controlling system can not only display the tools number and variety intuitively in the cabinet, the tools number and variety that are in use, but also the days of safe operation, the days from today to the next security inspection, the current date and time, the temperature and humidity conditions inside the cabinet and outside the cabinet.Through the debugging stage, the commissioning stage and the stable operation stage, the design scheme of the controlling systemis verified and we achieved the expected function. Since the controlling system has been put into operation, it is in good condition all the time and gets users' praise and affirmation. The Electricity Safety Tool Ark Controlling System meets the requirements of storing insulated tools completely.The Electricity Safety Tool Ark Controlling System is studied in this paper.
