Design And Implementation Of Motion Controller And PLC Controller Based On Windows CE

Since the nineties, the development of new generation CNC system has already become major trend by making full use of software and hardware resource of PC. In this aspect, Europe, U.S. and Japan, which are in the forefront, have successively drawn up respective specifications of system framework and presented demonstration products. In our country, the startup of relative work was quite late. Most of our CNC systems use DOS as their software platform, also some use Windows98, WindowsNT, OS/2, LINUX, RT_LINUX and so on. But all of these platforms more or less have some shortcoming, in aspect of real-time performance, compatibility and openness. The shortcoming finally caused thorny problems in development work.Along with embedded OS Windows CE being more and more consummate, aimed at above-mentioned problems, this dissertation solved the following two problems.1. How to guarantee the real-time performance of Windows CE-based CNC system. On the basis of systemic research of Windows CE, this dissertation analyzed the possibility and the feasibility of using Windows CE as the software platform of CNC system, and proposed a method to guarantee the real-time performance by using interrupt. Thus the Windows CE-based CNC system can be a good amalgamation of compatibility, openness and high real-time performance.2. How to design and implement motion controller and PLC controller based on Windows CE. The motion controller and PLC controller, which are both important modules of CNC system, have a high request of real-time performance, in particular, the motion controller. On the foundation of solving the first problem above, this dissertation presented design framework of motion controller and PLC controller based on components and implemented them on Windows CE platform.
