Design And Implement Of Digital Network Video Server Terminal Based On DaVinci

The DVS is a kind of equipment, which compress the audio and video data and transmit the processed data by network. In recent years, With the great efforts of the "peaceful city", "safe campus", "global eyes" projects in nationwide, and the higher demands on the coverage of video surveillance, monitoring points and network transmission were set by user such as schools,airports, highways and banks and so on, and the Video monitoring technology of network video monitoring will become the future trend of the development of the video monitoring market.This scheme adopted TMS320DM6467 which was the most advanced media processor promoted by TI as the core processor of the system, and used MontaVista Linux as its operating system, and used H.264 codec algorithm as video compression algorithm of this system.Based on the analysis of needs of current network video monitoring market and the characteristics of DVS, the subject determined a hardware structure which include audio and video input module, Ethernet interface module, RS485 and RS232 serial port module, USB interface module, SATA interface module, SD card interface and so on. and completed the principle design and PCB design and debug of the whole system, designed the driver program of system peripheral devices and created the H.264 compression algorithm by DaVinci Technology. The result show that it reached the expected technical requirements through the overall system performance test.
