Research And Development Of Document Management System Based On PDM

With the deepening of enterprise information and the development of the network, many middle-sized and small domestic enterprises are facing the problem of management of product data. Product Data Management (PDM) focus on product data and process, and it is an integration management. Application of the PDM can solve the problem of management of product data, enterprises facing, so that the enterprises can improve the design efficiency and the quality of product. Document data, as the main information source of PDM, is an important component of PDM. In this paper, we apply the PDM technology and develop a document management system which is suiting for middle-sized and small domestic enterprises in the .NET platform.Firstly, this paper introduces the definition, system structure, functions and research of PDM, the definition and phylogeny of document management system. Secondly, we analyze requirement of the system and then design the system as a whole, including the choice of system structure, software development tools and development environment, system functional analysis and the establishment of a database. The system is designed based on ASP.NET technology and ADO.NET database access interface technology, using the C# as the front development language, and takes the SQL Server2000 as the network database system platform. The system adopts the hybrid structure of B/S and C/S. Furthermore, we describe the key technologies, including the construction of product structure tree, automatic extaction and storage of title bar and details bar of CAD drawings, tne design of relational database and stored procedures. In addition, we describe the system function in detail, and Finally we introduce the system testing simply.Using the PDM-based document management system, enterprises can manage, design and make use of the resource of the product information effectively, and enhance the design efficiency and the level of intelligent document information processing. The system meets the middle-sized and small domestic enterprises needs, its application will make an important promotion for the enterprise to enhance the innovation capability.
