The economic globalization and the market globalization are the inevitable trends. In China industries such as chemical industry, steel and so on are facing a severe competitions and experiencing a profound change to exist. In this situation, we are expected to have a modern management notion, introduce modern management decision-making system and improve the ability to compete so that the enterprise can be well developed. By observing the production management mode and development trends in the world, it is clear that we should change from single bound and partial improvement for comprehensive, integrated optimization, among which we should focus on plan, organization and control. Manufacturing Execution System is used to solve the disconnection between plans and processes in the course of integrated optimization. Not only does the disconnection affect the productive efficiency for a long time but also becomes an obstacle between modern enterprise internal information integration and enterprise supply chain optimization.Petrochemical enterprise is a typical funds and technology-intensive one, where continuous production is demanded. Any accident happening to devices or important equipment will lead to the huge economic losses. Therefore the advanced DCS is widely used in the production process. In production management safety and placidity are paid more attention to. By strengthening production management, we can balance the production management and production process. By means of advanced control and optimization, we can obtain larger economic benefit based on smooth, safe production. So the integration of control and management is the focus of petrochemical enterprise informationization. The refining enterprise which is the principal part of petrochemical enterprise is a typical flow one where some characteristics are obvious, such as the continuity of production, batches of production, the fixity of production regulations and the complexity of production material flow. As the prices of crude oil are rising constantly and the competition between enterprises at home and abroad is severe, more demands of refining enterprises should be met, such as promoting production efficiency, enhancing management level and so. Under this background, the exploitation and implementation of MES have been carried out rapidly in the refining enterprises at home and abroad in the recent years.As early as 2000, China petroleum-gas Corporation, which is a leading petrochemical enterprise in China, completed the technology informationization and determined the blueprint of information technology in the future.In 2004 oil refining and MES was started throughout the company formally and since then the system has been trying out and by 2010 the implement had been completed. Now the system is working out well.Jilin Petrochemical Corporation, which is the largest oil refining and chemical industry integration enterprise in China, put in MES into use in 2007. MES had completed 3 stages before it operated online successfully in 2010. Since the system came into effect, it has been operated steadily and efficiently. The customers can use the system to control production management skillfully. More and more sub-businesses can be supported by information technology from MES for the purpose of optimizing the allocation of resources between enterprises, improving the efficiency of the enterprises.The issue of the disconnection between the enterprise management and control has been solved by the means of MES. The control integration mode in enterprises has really come true. As a result enterprise management and decision will be based on the data acquisition that is taken and processed automatically. Among the 11 function modules of MES, data acquisition and data storage automatically of device are the core modules, which can complete the data acquisition of the device DCS/PLC system automatically and store the data in a real time database. That is to say, the self-acting data acquisition serves as both the base of the MES and the bridge between upper network and industrial plant DCS.Taking the implementation of MES data of automatic collection interface as an example, the author expatiates the software and hardware interface technology, compares the advantages and disadvantages of different interfaces and draws a conclusion. The essay is divided into five parts:Preface: the difficulties of implementation of MES data acquisition in Jilin Petrochemical Company; the disadvantages of traditional hardware interface; the illustration of software interface based on the international standard OPC technology.Chapter 1: The writer deals with the MES project sources, the MES project construction principles, the MES project target and the MES project system function modules in Jilin Petrochemical Company. The writer describes the data acquisition and real-time database, which the most important basic function module.The writer focuses on the implement of data acquisition --- the basic function module, sums up the information of ECS/PLC system and analyzes the existing ECS/PLC system. More attention is paid to the transformation of automatic data acquisition.Chapter 2: Taking the DCS interface implementation applied to Honeywell and Huanghe as an example, the writer states the process of data collection and analyzes the application effects, the characteristics and shortcomings.Chapter 3: The author explains the data acquisition by adopting the soft interface implementation, whose processes and effects are illustrated in detail.Conclusion: Evidenced by practice and compared with the hardware interface, the software interface is worthy of publicity because of its applicable efficiency, low cost, simple implementation and stable operation.
