Along with the development of economy, tourism and exhibition play a new role in economic growth. People pay great attention to tourism with leisure sightseeing and exhibition hall related about technical culture information, in addition, people become more independently and long for personalized traveling extremely therefore they choose travel route to their idea, which gives the reason why knowledge tour, the intelligent tour, personal travel are on the way to develop. As a new kind of wireless and non-contact automatic identification technology successfully applied in many fields, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has become one of the fastest developing and most promising technologies in global IT industry. For the main advantages of high efficiency, real-time and excellent accuracy, it is easy and accurate to realize orientation for guide in tour. All in all, the technology of RFID has many obvious advantages in intelligence and great practicality so that it is of great practical significance and vast application prospect to apply RFID to guide system.Firstly, group of binary search algorithm was presented, which was an improved anti-collision algorithm to avoid data collision and mutual interference in the applications, because more than one address transmitter would be involved in identification. The fundamental principle of the algorithm was to introduce grouping mechanism to reduce the time on identification. The simulation results proved that the improved algorithm which was proposed in this thesis was more effective and reliable than the present binary algorithm. Secondly, the general structure was introduced and the hardware circuit of intelligent guide device and address transmitter was designed. It followed the principle of modularization programming to develop the software system, which could realize some primary fuctions of the system, such as wireless transceiver, USB interface communication, the establishment and storage of FAT, MP3 file's play, intelligent search and orientation and so on.The feasibility of the proposed system was verified in the comprehensive test. The evaluation showed the system's satisfactory reliability, utility and anti-interference, which successfully meet our demand for the system.
