The Design Of MANET Hierarchical Protocol Based On The Organization For Combat

Due to need of the communication command of battlefield, mobile Ad Hoc network which never depend on any stable facilities and has the ability of self-organizing, self-management and self-configuring has been established. The realization of "communications on the move" of the Ad Hoc network make itself have a comprehensive application in the future. Ad Hoc network has attracted so many people because of the formation of the American Tactical Internet, but the research result which is fit for structure staffing and operational command of our army is not enough in our own country. This paper which takes a section of the tactical internet makes an initial research about the development of the tactical internet.Focusing on the movement regularity of the combat unit, the features of the information transmission, command and communication needs and network scenarios of the Ad Hoc network which involves mobile models, this paper analyses and researches the features and characteristics of the LANMAR hierarchical routing protocols deeply and basing on the features of communication command of battlefield to improve the LANMAR hierarchical routing protocols, this paper designs an architecture of the network which meets the mobile Ad Hoc network's needs and includes the plan of the IPv4's addresses organizing and backbone channel setting. At last, this paper establishes an improved hierarchical routing protocol based on organization for combat---Combat Organization LANMAR(CO-LANMAR). So this paper includes four parts as follows:(1) Analysis and research the features and characteristics of tactic Ad Hoc network. The unit of the tactic Ad Hoc network is composed by basic tactic units. Then based on the unit, the groups are divided naturally. Every group will take swarming at the same reign in the process of combat. The leader of the group commands and manages the member nodes. The transmission of the information of the command and communication is dominated by the vertical.(2) Research the fundamental principle of the hierarchical routing protocols deeply. On the basis of the outline of several classical routing protocols, the paper emphasizes the deep researching of the fundamental principle, table structure, packet format and information processing procedures.(3) Design the hierarchical routing protocols which bases on organization for combat---Combat Organization LANMAR which is short for CO-LANMAR. Adopting group mobility model, it designs the plan of IPv4's organization of addresses and makes a detailed explanation about its realization process.(4) With the help of the OPNET14.5 simulation software, it accomplishes the comparison of the LANMAR and the comparison of the CO-LANMAR. Then the result has been analyzed. The analysis proves the availability of the LANMAR protocols and provides reference algorithm and reference model for the design and scheme of the system.
