The Design And Implement Of The Softswitch Platform Based On Asterisk

With the development of NGN, group telephone system has trasformed from traditional PBX into IP-PBX. However, small and medium-sized enterprises and institutions can't afford the cost of equipment and maintenance which are provided by the mainstream equipment manufacturers. Therefore, it is very import for the small and medium-sized enterprise to design and Implement IP-PBX which has the low cost and simple maintenance quality.Combined with the development and advanced technology home and abroad, this paper has developed a IP-PBX system. The system can integrates the telephone network and computer network, and provide voice, fax, data and so many kinds of communication ways, which is mainly applicable to small and medium-sized enterprise communications business. Simple configuration, powerful function and lower cost of communication are characteristic of this IP-PBX system.This paper build the softswitch platform based on Asterisk,which simplify the configuration of the original method of Asterisk and are administrated by non-professionals used database and web pages technology, and adds new function such as:group management, billing query, out management, account binding, the user information query.Firstly, this paper studied the soft exchange knowledge, discussed the concept of IP-PBX, architecture. Focus on researching the key technologies of Asterisk, it compared and analyzed the web related technologies in order to choose the best management with the Asterisk platform integration solutions. After that, based on a specific project and according to requirements of the system, this article determine the system function architecture and technical architecture. Then, analysised and designed the Asterisk telephone communications systems and management and configuration systems, the two major components of the functional. Next, we implemented the system.
