| With the rapid development of technology, multi-dimensional complex data increase exponentially in business, science, engineering and other fields, the mass and complex data both boring and difficult to understand. Due to the inherent limitations of human cognitive abilities, people need new technology to make them more intuitive and effective. Under this background, visualization have received wide attention and development since it was brought forward in 1987, and produced more and more specific technologies. Those technologies have different characteristics of form, applicable targets, and implementation mechanisms. How to evaluate a specific technology scientifically become the key of the promotion of the technology and the development of new technology.This paper build a measurement model for Radviz visualization technique by researching the Radviz visualization techniques, then implemented the measurement model under Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Environment. The main research work focus on the following three aspects:1. The paper systematic analysis the existing visualization techniques and the measurement method, carry out and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of various visualization techniques, describe the relevant content of visualization measurement methods, and profound analyses the current lack of measurement methods. In-depth study the characteristics of the Radviz visualization technology, such as principles, scope, advantages and disadvantages and so on, and analyzes factors that effect the Radviz visualization applications.2. After analyzing the characteristics of Radviz visualization techniques, from the following three aspects:data size, visual effects and feature to keep, selected seven metrics that affect Radviz application results, and according to the importance of each metrics constructed comparison matrix based on 0.1-0.9 nine marks, then determine the weight of each metric by fuzzy AHP. At last establish a measurement model of Radviz visualization technology for the quantitative evaluation of the Radviz visualization application.3. This paper design and implement an evaluation system for Radviz visualization based on RVM model, including Radviz visualization module, quantitative evaluation module and the RVM correctness verification module. Through the practical application of large data sets, and analyze and compare the results from various angles to verify the correctness and rationality of the RVM model.The put forward of measurement model based on Radviz visualization technology, can help users understand the technical characteristics of Radviz and find improvement ways; also can direct practical applications of Radviz visualization technology, thereby enhance the effectiveness of their application, reliability and promote Radviz visualization technique. |
