FH communication technology is developing quickly in the modern information generation. It has strong anti-interference and anti-research ability. Currently, ARM microprocessor has occupied most of the high-end micro-controller market, ARM microprocessor has unique advantage. For example, it has low power consumption, small volume, low cost and high performance. Combined the ARM technology with FH communication technology, not only can we improve the frequency hopping rate,but also can we control multi-channel frequency hopping devices.Based on thorough study ARM control system theory, direct digital frequency synthesis (DDS) technology and frequency hopping communication technology, the multi-channel FH system are designed by using DDS and embedded technology. First, the overall scheme of the system are given. According to the design scheme, there are ARM main control module, work mode option module, DDS frequency produce modules and display module in this system. According to the design scheme, the system hardware platform are build. It including the peripheral circuit of the DDS chip and the ARM chip and the LCD controller, and the interface circuit between DDS chip and ARM chip. The computer is responsible for the transplantation of theμC/OSⅡsystem and building the system software running and debugging platform. Based on the platform, the software design and debugging of each module are made. The key is responsible for the options of working style. As the master module, the ARM microprocessor writes a program responsible for controlling the DDS module and LCD display module. The DDS module is responsible for producing frequency according to the function word which the ARM module input. The LCD display module show jumping repeatedly rate and frequency hopping rate. When the design is completed, the modules are tested and obtain the test results.According to the system test results, the system can output two channel frequency hopping signal at the same time. The highest frequency of the single FH system is 25MHz. The maximum bandwidth is 20MHz.The highest frequency hopping rate which the frequency synthesizer can output is 40000H/s.
