With the continuous improvement of industrial automation and computer technology, the application of monitoring system in the production process is gradually receiving more and more attention. Therefore, the IFIX gradually began to appear, and IFIX is an important component of monitoring system. It is functional, easy to learn, flexible and it has open interfaces, so it allows users significantly cutting the development cost and cycles. Monitoring the process by IFIX in the computer, it makes the process more intuitive and more profound understanding by users, and also convenient for real-time monitoring of the floating dock water supply and drainage system.The paper takes 80,000 tons floating dock ups and downs system as basis, and according to the actual project conditions and design requirements, uses IFIX WinCC to design and research the floating dock ups and downs system.The paper begins with an overview of the floating dock's concept and introduces the domestic developments, then the background and main content, and analyses the critical issues in the design.Then paper describes the development of IFIX. Through the comparative analysis of variety of IFIX, and according to the actual requirements of the system, the paper selects WinCC to design each function in the host computer monitoring system. According to the design requirements, design the overall framework, and according to the design principles, determine the overall design scheme.The paper designs the various interfaces which needs to monitor, including the main interface, ballast tanks interface, alarm interface, instrument interface, control interface, and configures alarm records, then through the settings of the users manager, defines users'rights.Then paper describes in detail the use of industrial Ethernet, and uses industrial Ethernet to realize communication between host computer WinCC and PLC, and mask introduction of the method in detail. Using the flexibility and open nature of WinCC script, the paper adopts the interface techniques of ADO, and directly access SQL database.
