With the continuous expansion of the industrial scale, only a control of a variety of field devices can not meet the higher requirements. Real-time response to on-site equipments'work condition has more profound meaning, so a controlling system monitoring the on-site situation came into being.According to the issue about Jiang Qi automobile axle automated assembly system, this article demonstrates Industrial Ethernet and PROFIBUS Fieldbus communication protocol. Particularly, it forms a designing task based on Industrial Ethernet and PROFIBUS-DP process controlling and monitoring system, and the whole system including the host computer and on-site HMI Manufacturing Execution System MES.In this paper the author adopts the OPC interface technology to solve the problems on industrial Ethernet and technical issues of PROFIBUS-DP data communication, and uses WinCC6.0 as a PC monitoring software to design a platform based on WinCC human-computer interface to monitor the process of production assembly system. Also, the author implements procedures to realize some functions, such as the preparation of historical data, dynamic monitoring of field data, abnormal signal alarm and so on. MES, as an auxiliary monitoring system, mainly uses to manage the information about processing workpieces as well as the production site.The whole system interface is simple and clear and easy to operate. since the production has been put in safe and reliable operation.
