| Virtual reality technology is a new technology combining of computer graphics, multimedia technology and network technology. In recent years, it has been developed rapidly and implicated in many areas. With the development of multimedia technology and network technology, two-dimensional multi-media-assisted teaching methods are increasingly unable to meet needs of modern teaching Application of virtual reality technology which can create three-dimensional virtual reality scenes to education came into being in this case.Combining with network technologies, VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is an important programming language of virtual reality technology, which used to describe the three-dimensional interactive world. Learners can directly browse the three-dimensional virtual reality scene created by VRML through the network, and even interact with the virtual scene. This paper did the research of the application of virtual reality technology, realized the virtual physics bilingual teaching using VRML and Java, and assessed credibility of virtual physical model.Firstly, the paper analyzed status of physics study and professional English language study in university physics bilingual teaching, and problems in assessment of the credibility of multimedia courseware, and then put forward the significance of this research; Secondly, the author analyzed theoretical basis of virtual reality technology applied into the teaching, and theoretical support for virtual teaching.; Thirdly, by the analysis of teaching needs in university physics bilingual teaching, the thesis focuses on works, modeling methods and interactive techniques of VRML, realize the simulation of different wavelengths of Fraunhofer single-slit diffraction stripes, as well as phenomenon of light polarization using VRML and Java. Fourth, the method of simulation credibility assessment based on similarity theory was introduced, and credibility of Fraunhofer single-slit diffraction stripe was assessed by the same method. Finally, the virtual scene and web page were combined, and the 3D network learning platform of university physics bilingual teaching was designed and implemented.The results of this study providing methods that can be refereed for the improvement of the virtual physics teaching, especially for quality of university physics bilingual teaching. It has realistic and practical significance for the promotion of situational network and modern teaching with virtual reality. |
