Research On Construction Model Of Community Library In China

The construction and development of the community library have very important significance: Firstly, changing weak and uneven development condition of the grass-roots library in our country. Secondly, promoting public library network service system, improving service level and social benefits of library, which makes library truly become"second living room". Finally, providing an atmosphere, in which everyone reads, to guide and standardize resident's proactive way of life, creating a learning society. Whereas domestic community library construction model has become important subject, it is linked to the community library management, operation and sustainable development and construction performance and so on. But the people had yet to reach consensus about the community library construction, community library construction is in the initial stage. So, this paper further studies the construction pattern of community library in China, analyzes the advantages and existence problems of various construction models, and puts forward improvement strategies in older to provide guidance for its coordinated, sustainable and healthy development.The article totally is divided five chapters. Part one describes the research background and significance, research status and so on. Part two describes basic construction status of community library. Part three according to differences of builders and managers, the models of community library are divided into five types, and depicts each typical example and discusses the corresponding advantages and disadvantages. The fourth chapter, improving the strategy of construction model of community library in China. That is, clearing construction principle, strengthening the government functions, perfecting legislation and evaluation mechanism, expanding funding and strengthening self-construction. Part five, conclusion. It has summarized the shortcomings of this study and addressed the research prospects.There are two innovations in this article, Firstly, according to the differences of builders and managers in the paper, the past involved more than ten kind's construction models of community libraries are divided into five types. Secondly, the article puts forward library property rights, social forces and business cooperation can be the sources of funding for community library.
