Research On Information Hiding Method Of MPEG-4 Audio

Data hiding technology takes the open messages(audio,video,image,text etc.) as host to embed secret messages in without changing main content of the host and being recognized by human to achieve the transfer of secret messages.It has great application on copyright protection and invisible communication.MPEG-4 is a new standard advaced by Moving Pictures Experts Group after MPEG-1 and MPEG-2.Its good compression performance and the adaptability for Internet of the streaming media characteristic make it popular.Deeply hiding algorithms researching based on, this paper presents the research of MPEG-4 audio steganography method. Specific tasks as follows:1. Present a method of embedding secret message in MPEG-4 AAC audio.This method uses FHSS to pick embedding positions from MDCT coefficients of AAC,and uses DSSS and digital-position information based embedding method to achieve the embedding of secret message.2. To improve the conflict between the embedding capacity and audio quality, different pre-processing algorithms are used for different form of secret messages. Images and audios are compressed by means of reducing sample and so on to reduce the data quantity.3. Finished an experimental software system of AAC steganography which contains embedding module, extracting module, simulation transfer module and pre-processing module. The software system ran well and all the experiments of this paper were demonstrated on this system.We demonstrate the steganography method on the plat of Windows 7 and VC++6.0. We got satisfied experiment result that shows good imperceptibility and good capacity of secret message when loss rate was under certain level.
