DeviceNet is one of low-cost and high-capability based on Control Area Network technology. Its physical layer and data link Layer in accordance with CAN 2.0 protocol, data link layer protocol was realized by CAN controller. Each device within a DeviceNet network is represented by object model, each object in model was represented by class-instance-attribute. With the Predefined Master/Slave connection set identifier, DeviceNet can simplify the exchange of I/O and configuration data, I/O message is used to the data correlation with control and real-time message, explicit message carry the configuring and diagnosing data of nodes. DeviceNet use producer/consumer model. This paper design the temperature transmitter interface based on DeviceNet, The node use the 8 bits microprocessor P89C51RD2 as data processor, and adopt the CAN controller SJA1000, software include the object modeling and data link layer programming. All of object in object model was defined and initialized the parameter. The Protocol implemented by ANSI C, Sentences in accord with DeviceNet Specifications, the hardware include the design of Schematic and PCB. In the end, emulating hardware DeviceNet and debugging software. The temperature transmitter can transmitted the analogy signals to data signals, which realized the network digitization, intellectual.
