The Application And Research Of VPN Management System Based On CORBA/JAVA In Taxation Network

With the development of computer network, electronic commerce becomes moreand more important in our daily life. However, due to the complexity of thecomputer network, it's very hard to construct and effectively maintain the network fora large enterprise. VPN is a technology used to construct an Intranet based publicnetwork with the support of tunneling technology, encapsulation and authenticationmethods. A VPN is virtual and has no point to point corresponding physical networkrather than sharing physical circuits with other traffics. A VPN is private as itisolates Internet traffic with routing and encryption. In general, it has a reliableconnection, not only the issues of privacy protection, safety property andmanageability,also the cost of the network can be reduced. The most types of VPNinclude IPsec VPN and MPLS VPN.Electronic taxation is widely used in modern society. There are manychallenges in the taxation network includes reliability, security and management rules.Taxation department needs to build a network management platform, managing andmonitoring the VPN network. In this paper, a total VPN technology applied to theelectronic taxation system was described in details, and CORBA/JAVA technologyand simple network management protocol (SNMP) were used to build a distributingnetwork management platform.
