In this paper, the key techniques of OFDM systems, such as equalization and channel estimation are studied. Firstly, the development of OFDM and software radio and the significance of their combination are introduced. Then the basic principles such as the application of IFFT/FFT and adding of cyclic prefix are described, and the choice of the parameters of OFDM is devised; Secondly, the equalization and channel estimation of OFDM systems are deeply studied. The importance on the equalization including time and frenquency for OFDM systems is proposed, simulated,and compared with Decision feedback Equalizer(DFE).her more the channel estimation based on block type and comb type pilot interpolation are described. The difference among algorithms on comb type pilot interpolation is simulated in multipath channel. Then,the Adaptive Equalizer on frequence domain is devised and the improved architecture of equalizer is given. In the end, a brief intrucduction about the hardware platform which include double DSP and FPGA is presented, and a detailed description of the work principle and the control methods of each part of the hardware circuit is raised. Finally, the waveform and the power spectrum of intermediate frequency signal BPSK.
