The Research On Key Technology Of Flexsim-based Simulation Platform Of Container Terminal

With the development of discrete event simulation and computer technology, the research of computer simulation technology on the container port logistics system is becoming application. Now the container port logistics model is planar, and we focus on the data statistic and analysis so the simulate process is not intuitionistic. Users can't understand it. Some one build three-dimensional model use 3DMax or other third part software to simulate the work processing. But the data statistic and work processing is separated. With the development of virtual reality (VR), which has join in the current simulation software. Flexsim is such a simulation software which is adopted in the paper.This paper introduces the development of port modern logistic, especially the development of the container terminal logistic. Container transport is becoming important in the world trade, and the research on it beginning, especially the research on computer simulation technology which applies on container terminal logistic and gets lots of results. This paper analyses and summarizes the characters of the container terminal, processing, dispatch principle and the classical technics of load and unload. In the paper it also summarizes the performance index of the container port. Container terminal is a classical discrete event system, the paper uses the theory of discrete event system to analyse the basic concepts and characters about queue system, and get the queue model of the container terminal;uses the object oriented method analyses the basic modules which consist the container terminal system.Data modeling is an important part in the simulation process. The paper analyses three methods of data modeling and their advantage and disadvantage. And research how to use the data analysis tool ExpertFit build the data model of the simulation system. At last the paper researches the key technologies which build the simulation platform about the container terminal base on Flexsim in detail. The key technologies include the customize the equipment just an STS, how to import the 3D model and optimization, how to implement the kinematics, and build the GUI. After finish the equipments, organize them into a library in Flexsim in order to reuse. The paper also research the rule about the process a container from a ship to a yard by load, unload and convey, the main research is the task sequences. It builds a simple container port using the model which has finished in Flexsim.
