Application Of AS-interface At The Baggage-handling System In Airport

This paper mainly discusses how to use the AS-Interface to solve the problemthat the luggage dropped down from the tray of the airport luggage identificationsystem. And introduce the characteristic of several field bus, for example, the' Foundation Fieldbus', 'Lon Works','Profibus-DP', 'CAN bus' ,'AS-interface',which used in factory now. Then analyze and compare the two field bus between the'Profibus-DP' and the 'AS-interface'. Based on the study and the end user's requirement, light cell are used to detectthe luggage dropped from the tray, and used two different way, the Profibus-DP andAS-interface, to construct the field net respectively, then compare them two with thetraditional parallel cable. Then gave the reason why to choose the AS-interface as thebest way.
