| Being a primary component of the Embedded System, the MCU (microcontrollerunit) has become an important field of research. MCU is widely used in industrialcontrol, intelligent instrument, household appliances and intelligent product, as it is animportant branch of computer technology and the kernel of the Embedded System.With the development of microelectronics, the design of electronic system enters theage of System On Chip (SOC), and the functions of MCU get more and more powerful,therefore, it comes to be the system single-chip truly. This paper develops andcompletes the design based on real examples for the research on Embedded Systemand the object on application of MCU. According to the requirement of SuZhou WeiYun Co. Ltd., it needs to design thesystem which can accept the composite video signals of PAL-D format in China, it canalso support MPEG-2 MP@ML and stand-alone mode (no host computer control) aswell. Based on lots of references to image system and MCU, this paper adopts thedesign of embedded MPEG-2 image system and select 16bit Fujitsu MCU as itscontrol kernel. According to the function requirement and the application references, itmakes the development methods and adopts the multiple communications to realize theinitialization of various parameters about the system, and to meet the requirements ofthis system. In this paper, the development and prospect of Embedded System havebeen researched deeply and the current research status of MCU has been summarized.The research of this paper has its valuable application for that it can be wildly used invideo supervision, control on remote equipment and digital media etc. based on theembedded MPEG-2 image system. |
