Design And Implementation Of Embedded Web-based Network Monitor System

As global economy develops towards information technology, the user's requirements of network grow at a high rate. Now network have infiltrated into aspects of the communal living. To ensure that network and it's application may serve the people better, Monitoring System of Computer Network will play increasingly significant roles. At the begining, this thesis retrospects the origin of network monitor and expatiates the significance of research into network monitor for maintenanceand supervisal of network. With that, the thesis expatiates main technology that monitoring system of computer network relates to,include systematic structure and characteristics of LAN , some important criterions and protocals and mechanism of capture of data package etc.After analyzing basal technology and principium of network monitor, this thesis analyzes mechanism of filtration about network data package. Except those, the thesis emphasize mechanism of filtration based on BPF that Monitoring System of Computer Network relates to. After comprehending correlative technology, the middle of the thesis designs the whole monitoring system . The thesis put forward in-depth analysis on the application characteristics and requirments on network monitor from three aspects: hardware platform, software platform and embedded web system. The whole project is modularized, The whole design buleprint is brought forward in the end. As a kernel, the last part of the article detailedly researches the specific implementation of the part of software network monitor system. The whole project consists of these modules: capture and analysis of data packet ,web management ,the function of network monitor. At first the article presents specific implementation of embedded Web server and SSL, after that, the implementation principle of capture and analysis of data packet is referred, At last the thesis takes Qping module as example to illustrate the implementation method of function module. Based on the analysis of performance on network monitor, the thesis summarize lack of the system and bring forward some ideas and advices for next work.
