A Study On The Construction Project Information Management

This thesis deals with how to put information management into practice inconstruction project. Based on the characteristic of construction projects distributingdifferent zone, constructing a Distributed Database Management System (DDMS) ispresented to realize information intercommunion, shared resource and holisticdomination between project teams. At last, a practical case analysis shows practiceand validity.Firstly, this thesis discusses the necessity and possibility of actualizing informationmanagement in construction project. Secondly, based on the characteristic ofconstruction project itself, this thesis studies on the form of construction projectmanagement information system, and discusses the exploitation course ofconstruction project management information system in detail. In the end, based on apractical case, this thesis analyzes the operation flow of putting informationmanagement into practice by the theory aforementioned.Construction company can control construction projects which distributes differentzone by information technique, realize information intercommunion and resourceoptimization, which is propitious to realize scientific management for constructioncompany and maximal benefit.
