Research And Design Of The P2P Audio And Video Communication System

It is a challenged project with plenty of practical value to make a liveand peer to peer audio and video communication over Internet.I think thatit would have a great impact on the market of Telecommunication infuture.At present,there are many mature products,such as Skype,MSN,PPLive and so on.But all of them are not completely meeted with ourexpectations.Video communication technology has not been used widely inthe market.So it is quite necessary to do a further research in this field.The core technology of the network multimedia is audio and video codingand decoding technology and network transmitting technology.I havedesigned and implemented an audio and video communication system basedon the technology of P2P.After deep analysis and practical research,I think that the maindifficulties are direct connection between two peers and intelligentcontrol of audio or video stream.Firstly,the communication system in thispaper achieves direct connection between two peers using UDP in most kindof network conditions,which can reduce the load of serverevidently.Besides,the system transmits the signaling and text data thatrequired real time performance and great reliability through server usingTCP and it also implements a server system accessed by thousands of theusers at the same time. Secondly,the system achieves the intelligentcontrol of the audio and video and adopts the dragging way to process datawhich will be sended.Accoding to the feedback of network performance,thesystem adjusts the sample rate of audio or video and checks the integralityof the data received.I have a deeper understanding in the related technology in the course ofimplementing the system. I think that P2P is a new revolutionarytechnology which is not conflicted with traditional technology.We shouldmake use of new technology and integrate the traditional technology interms of different requests which may use them fully.From the result ofthe system,I think that there is more space in improving the performanceof audio and video communication at present.the technology of the videocommunication would be used widely in the communication market infuture.
