| With the more development of embedded system and wireless communication technology, which are based on embedded systems as the platforms and depend on wireless data transmit terminals, have been used widely. Embedded operation systems are the main purpose of current research. There are many features when using Linux as embedded operation system: stability, high performance, easy custom, wide hardware support, free of charge, open source code. Because of these features, embedded Linux has been used widely in the embedded system field.This article first elaborated the development of an embedded system, introduced the features and the development flow of an embedded system. This article highlights hardware system design based on S3C44B0X ARM7 processor, including S3C44B0X smallest system design, storage system design, computer interface design and GPRS module interface design. It also analyzed the function and the transplant method of bootloader, focused on uCLinux core structure, the step of allocation and tailoring uCLinux core,the compilation method of the uCLinux application procedure.This article has also reserched the PPP agreement and the GPRS module function with emphasis, how to realize short news receiving and dispatching using AT command of GPRS module.This system is especially suitable to the application of transmitting the little flux data. Based on the system, it is possible to develop many kinds of applications with optimistic prospects, such as the data acquisition systems, the mobile vehicles monitoring and position system, the mobile POS machine, the mobile toll system, the mobilized data and the Internet connection, the computer room monitoring, the long-distance maintenance and information inquiry system. In the next step of work, using other functions with GPRS module to develop more perfect wireless communication platform may be taken into account. |
