Modern distance education is new type of education appeared with the modern information technology. People can study in anytime and anywhere by the distance education because it breaks the time and space restriction of traditional education. ADO.NET is a resolution of data assessing in the .NET platform of Microsoft, and it is a successor of ADO. XML which came out of SGML has inherited the various functions of XML and the readability of HTML. And XML is used to define all kinds of markup languages to meet different demands.System design of the distance teaching system. This system adopts structure model of B/S. Combined with didactical requirements, the system should have such basic functions as system management, courses studying, online examination, exercises providing, online discussion, etc.Realization of the system. By utilizing ASP.NET technology to carry on real procedure making, to reach various functions of websites and teaching purposes, suchas manipulating supporter's database backstage, realizing website's registration and log on, realizing search offered for studying and tracking studying. Give some interfaces and codes, and discuss difficulties and pivotal technologic problems in details.Summarize primary work in the paper.
