Construct The Online Virtual Store Base On VRML/X3D

The online store is actually one kind of merchandise' s information browsing, and the online shopping system is just "the market" that provides this kind of information. In recent years, the development of the network virtual technology opens a new avenue for the information exchange between merchants and customers, especially the virtual reality technology development, as it provides the possibility to make the online virtual store "to be real" .With the widespread investigation and study massive literature, this thesis summarized domestic and foreign the VRML/X3D applied research in recent years, and analyzed main shortcomings and the future developing direction and tendency of the current online virtual store. The thesis put forward a online 3D virtual store system based on the VRML/X3D, and has developed the prototype system, and the online virtual 3D furniture store system is taken as the example. The on-line virtual 3D furniture store system mainly includes customer's information registration, furniture information search, 3D shop, 3D furniture scene arrangement, shopping car, backstage management and system help module and so on. The realization of the 3D furniture store system: Used 3DS max6. 0 sofeware construct the 3D shop and the merchandise' s models, export the VRML/X3D scene documents;Used VRMLPad2.1 to edit the VRML/X3D documents, add texture to the scene' s models, realize the systems the furniture display, the furniture material switch, the indoor furniture display, navigation by the interactive functional nodes of VRML/X3D own and realize the 3D shop menu by Script node programming function and so on;Used SQL Server2000 as the database server system;Used the ASP technology realize the relationship between the 3D shop and database, and realize the activeand interactive refreshing of the 3D shop' s furniture.This thesis made research on virtual reality technology and its application in the electronic commerce. The thesis ' researches are mainly on the VRML/X3D virtual reality technology and the platform of the current online shopping system technology, introduced the system design structure in detail, studied the VRML/X3D modeling, texture and the scene interaction technology;and discussed the technology of database accessing with VRML/X3D. The thesis also summarized essential technology of the realization of the scene environment, the scene and the merchandise' s modeling, the viewpoint switching, 3D merchandise initiative display, 3D merchandise interactive refreshing, 3D merchandise active refreshing and the database accessing and so on, and gave an example in the system.The innovation point of this thesis is: Proposed and realized the exchange of information between VRML/X3D and the database and the active & interactive refreshing of 3D merchandise, and provided the user with a pipeline service from user' s registration, furniture browsing, layout of furniture inside the room and purchasing.This thesis analyzed and explained the developed system' s running condition, and at last the author also made a summary of the online virtual store system' s developing and research work, and point out the further research direction.
