Lots of electronic commerces morphed from traditional Internet to cell phones, with a trend that mobile phones had been already necessities for people in their everyday life;and that applications based on mobile phones began to spread everywhere. The appearance of WAP technology based on mobile communication, not only made the development of mobile electronic commerces better, but also made mobile electronic commerces have a problem with its security. Therefore, it became a hot issue on how to guarantee the security during electronic commerces, if there were lack of calculation and memory ability in mobile terminals.Security occurring during mobile electronic commerces was studied, with the discussing of security structures based on WAP technology. Security of electronic commerces based on WAP depended on the security of WAP itself to some extent. That made the security structures of WAP really crucial. The security structures of WAP consisted of WTLS, WIM, WPKI and WMLScript, while each functioning differently respectively for the security of application on wireless network. WPKI was a core to security of WAP. WAP protocol could run on different transportation services, including SMS, CSD,GPRS and so forth.The thesis designed a Mobile Certification Authority Center for mobile electronic commerces using WPKI. Mobile CA Center was implemented, according to a solution that extended wire CA center to wireless CA. Mobile CA center was implemented in C/C++, and could operate on various platforms. Mobile CA center's functions included complete CA structure, supply of producing key, production of CA, signing of CA, cancellation of certification revoked list, publishment of CRL and so on. Mobile CA center supported mobile electronic commerces based on WAP and SMS. The thesis also designed several application models of mobile electronic commerces based on mobile CA center.Mobile terminals played such an important role in mobile electronic commerces that they had their own encryption technologies. In order to improve the security level of mobile electronic commerces, in the thesis, a combination of current encryption technologies for mobile terminals, such as fingerprint encryption, and WAP safe transportantion was presented.Finally in the thesis, all the work done on mobile electronic commerces wassummerized, and research for future was discussed.
