The Implementation of Software Communications Architecture (SCA) system function is independent of hardware function, but focuses on the development of waveform application. In order to make application development get rid of bottom hardware restriction, and to invoke hardware device through a general interface, device interface is defined in SCA system. Device interface component can shield low-level hardware, thus achieves the separation of top application design and bottom hardware, and Implements the waveform application characteristic of platform-independence, portability and versatility.Based on the project of SCA-based General Software Radio Platform, the paper analyses emphatically the Software Communications Architecture, especially discusses the principle and Implementation of SCA device interface. The paper designs and implements the dynamic load of DSP based on HPI interface and the communication between waveform application components running on CPU and components running on DSP, based on which the DSP driver programs are designed, and futher implements the encapsulation of DSP device component. Additionally the paper designs and implements the dynamic load of FPGA and related driver programs, and then finishes the encapsulation of FPGA device component. Finally, the paper designs and implements the driver programs of I/O device of network device and serial interface device and encapsulation of corresponding device components.
