However, with the increasing shortage of our forest resource, the furniture enterprises have to see straight to the situation, base themselves upon the market, manage and operate with the advanced information technology, find out a management mechanism and solution to adapt to the modern competitive environment, enhance their own international competency, enhance the customer satisfaction degree, enlarge their own market, reduce the cost of materials and inventory, shorten the production and purchasing period, obtain a larger profit, and establish a nicer foundation for the future development.This design makes wide survey researches on tracking production to medium and small-sized furniture enterprises, takes a long investigation for one furniture enterprise, and then analyses the current situation and exiting shortages, with the efficient request of the enterprise, finally develops a Management Information System to furniture enterprises which is supervised by the advanced ERP thoughts and based on the internet structure. The development technology of product management information system to the furniture manufacturing enterprise includes functional modules design, system structure design, hardware laying, interface programming, database design, the security design and so on.The purchasing, manufacturing, selling and inventory management, which are closely related into manufacturing are incorporated into this design. The user interface includes management main interface, data management, stock management, sell management, product management, inventory enquiry, authorization management and mode correction management subsystem module and so on, elementarily achieve the manufacturing informatization and information integratization, and offer a technique support to the modernize management in furniture enterprises.The advanced development tool Borland Delphi and Microsoft SQL Server, the system architecture based on the C/S module and object-oriented programming technique are used in this project. |
