Design Of Virtual Tourism System Based On WebGIS

The WebGIS virtual tourism information system, which would make the browsers cheerful during visiting the virtual reality tourism, was designed and developed by the advancing techniques such as the algorithm design of virtual human walking and rapid browsing in a large scale of scene in this paper. In the development and design of a large scale of complex scene, the speed in browsing this scene could be seriously restricted, which directly would affect the development and design of the large scale of softwares. So,is was an urgent matter how to elevate the browsing speed,a key technique.The author had well solved the question of the rapid roaming around the virtual reality of a large scale of complex scenes by means of GTC—LOD. The actually happening scenes of virtual reality were realized by the virtual reality panorama including cubic, cylindrical and global panorama techniques, which was used to improve rapidly the development efficiency of the virtual reality tourism scenes. While the browsing speed was improved or elevated in virtual reality scenes, the browsers could feel as if thy had been participating in tridimesionality.In order to make the scenes more active and true to life, the design of virtual human walking must be emphasized. The solved key techniques were the analysis of virtual human walking dynamics and the algorithm design of virtual human walking. Based on the characters of the sport and dynamics in virtual human, the virtual human limbs and trunks were abstracted to simplify the simple bodies of rigid geometry. Every joint was abstracted into a global point. The design of the virtual human movement was realized by the connecting rod of the limbs and trunks.To sum up, the developed WebGIS virtual reality tourism information system is very much new and practical, and has an enormous advantage in market foreground. The combination potentiality of the virtual reality technique with tourism resources is very great, which obtains great economic efficiency. The advancing function and the active operation of interface in this system makes general tourism city and tourism units management control and use it easy. It is highly valuable of popularization and usage.
