In some countries and areas, the service traffic data has exceeded that of voice, and has become the mainstream of telecom traffic. Because of the high bandwidth utilization and exoteric protocols, also available comprehensive service including voice, data and multi-media, it goes without saying that the next generation network will evolve toward packet network.But traditional PSTN is still the important revenue source for telecom carrier. Moreover, PSTN has reached every points of society; it has stable services and users. Network evolution and convergence must be done on the basis of current network.
