| From nineties of twenty century, the wireless network and mobile communication techniques have improved prominently, and have been applied widely. In recently years, diversified business requirements of consumer drive the research of mobile-terminal localization, so as to push it to be one of the most absorbing subjects. At the same time, the developing UWB techniques attract interest from all over the word. The special narrow-impulse of the narrow-impulse baseband UWB system can improves the performance of localization enormously. In practice, along with the expansion of UWB network location will be applied extensively in the future, so it has been investigated by the IEEE and some standards have been proposed.This paper research the baseband narrow pulse localization technique of UWB under IEEE802.15.4a standard. The main content include the localization manner selection, localization algorithm selection and performance simulation based on them.There are six chapters in this paper; they were introduced mainly by the researching work order.The first chapter simply presents the wireless network, then introduces the concepts and characters of UWB system, analyzes their application expectation in the future. The last is content arrangement of this paper.The second chapter introduces the channel model of UWB system under IEEE802.15.4a, which is the basement of all the researches.The third chapter analyzes various localizations methods proposed by the wording group of IEEE802.15.4a, then compare and select the TDOA method as the research direction.The fourth chapter presents the localization algorithms in conventional cellar system and analyzes several representational methods.The fifth chapter establishes the architecture model of narrow-impulse baseband localization in UWB, proposed the measure methods of the TDOA value, then simulated and analyzed the selected methods.The last chapter is summary of this thesis and expectation of next research works.The pulse localization technique of UWB has high precision, particular practical applications and is under fast developing. This paper partial researched the pulse localization technique of UWB, and hope that it can helpful for future research works. |
