Design & Development Of The GPS Vehicle Monitoring And Dispatching Manage Center

In order to achieve the purpose of monitoring and dispatching the vehicle, this article describes the method to design and develop the GPS Vehicle Monitoring and Dispatching Manage center. This monitoring and Dispatching manage center, which is a vehicle security and monitor communicate and manage system is based on the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) and making up with GPS (Global Positioning System), GIS (Geographical Information System), and the technology of computer communication and data process. This system is developing with the VC++ 6.0 & MapInfo, SQL Server as well. It transfers the data between the monitoring center and the vehicle to monitor vehicle, dispatch vehicle, replay trace and alarm manage with GSM short message operation,At First, the paper has accomplished the integration of the electrical map and the loading of the animate layer, combination the MapInfo map into the software developed with VC, built the vehicle object on the animate layer for the characteristic of refresh.The Second, it develops the serial-port to complete the communication between the vehicle and the monitor and manage center: Show the vehicle position on the electrical map with the received and processed data which is in the form of GSM short message to achieve monitoring vehicle; Send command in form of short message to dispatch and manage the vehicle.The third, the author develop the manage function and replaying trace of GPS monitoring and dispatching manage center by operating the database. At last this thesis summarizes the development of this system, brings up the shortage of the system and the method to solve.Though the study of the several important functions of the GPS monitoring and dispatching manage system, it has accomplished the basic development of the system of GPS monitoring and dispatching manage center. The mobile object with GPS terminal, which is cover with GSM net can be monitoring by this system. And it is run in condition under the OS of Windows XP.
