Research On Intelligent Peripheral Based On GSM-R Mobile Intelligent Network

With the rapid development of railway traffic, an integrated, self-contained and reliable communication system is needed to meet the requirements of railway communication. GSM-R network, which is adapted to railway communication based on GSM, has been the development direction of railway communication network. As a private network specially used in railway, GSM-R should provide many special services for railway. Mobile Intelligent Network is widely used with its advantage of creating services more quickly, more flexibly and more conveniently.Chapter one describes GSM-R system briefly, and introduces the conception of Mobile Intelligent Network. Chapter two introduces the special services that GSM-R Mobile Intelligent Network provides for railway, and expatiates some conceptions about CAMEL. Chapter three designs the structure of Intelligent Peripheral, including, physical scenarios, logical structure, state transition, system structure hiberarchy and signaling flow. Chapter four presents the scheme of eLDA in detail, analyzes the effect of eLDA on GSM-R. Chapter five introduces the Call Barring based on locations, analyzes the existing problem further. Chapter six draws a conclusion and points out the fields for further study.
