Designing And Developing Of The Control Program Of The Mobile Terminal In Vehicle Location System

The vehicle location system is wide used and the mobile terminal is the important part of it. It has tow important technology: communication and location. The rapid development of computer and communication technology solve the communication problem and American's GPS provide the global user a cheap and convenient method of location. We dicided to develope our own the mobile terminal in vehicle location system due to the demand of the market and clients.We first completely developed a mobile terminal in vehicle GPS location system base on SMS.The terminal is a software and hardware incorporate solution. The author of this article was in charge of the control program of the software part. The control program works as follows: the termial receives the requestion of the termial's location by GSM module, under the control of MCU, the termial gets GPS information throught GPS module and then sends the GPS information to requester via GSM network by GSM module using AT command.subsequently, The author of this article probed into and accomplished the control program of mobile terminal in vehicle location system base on GPRS.This article has tow innovations: 1 the introduction of sleep mode. In the control program of mobile terminal base on SMS the author of this article introduced sleep mode. When the terminal don't receive the requestion of the location for a quite long period of time, the terminal shifts to sleep mode, that is, the MCU, GSM module and GPS module shift to sleep mode respectively. The introduction of sleep mode reduces Energy consumption and improves the robusticity of the control program greatly.2the control program of mobile terminal in vehicle location system base on GPRS running on the MSC-51 compatible MUC.The program of mobile termina base on GPRS is complicating, so the programe runs on CPU which has ARM kernal generally.
