The Research And Implementation Of NMS Security Improvement Technology Based On SNMP Protocol

Nowadays,network management systems'(NMS) security bugs based on SNMPv1 or SNMPv2 have become one of the most serious questions in network management. It is urgent for network managers to improve original systems'security capability to prevent illegal customs'vision effectively and to maintain network's normal running.Aiming at illegal custom making his IP address a counterfeit of legal one or disguising himself a legal custom, this paper is provided an effective schema-IP Address Monitoring technology and IP data filtration technology are needed to the system. Using these technologies, the new system can not only assure the customs'ID legality in the network,but also assure data validity.After rebuilt, the new system has an obvious improvement about security aspect than original system, and the other functions will not be affected. But in the economic aspect, it need not so much money for the system's mainly body doesn't change.
