| In the modem communication network, ADSL is a general and mature broadband access technology. For the IP based network architecture with Ethernet uplink, there needs a module to implement the function bridging ATM and LAN. This is often done by network processor with high prices. The network processing devices are used more widely with the developing of telecommunication industry in China. It's very important and necessary for developing the cheap chip with intellect property owned. This paper will give the decription of the implimentaion of the ATM-Ethernet bridge module with FPGA. It may provide some reference for design an intellect property owned network processing chip. |
